Silverville tells the story of life inside a retirement village, an American concept for a different way of living. But the films are really about the people who live there, and explore their lives within the village. There's Bert and Rosie, who aim to marry, but will she be able to overcome feelings of betrayal to her late husband? Theres Bill McCloskey a Guardian reading anarchist with a sharp tongue and a glint in his eye, but crippled by debillitating Parkinsons disease. And finally there's Ken, who after being looked after by his wife Jan after suffering a major stroke at only 55, is moving into the village. But Jan's not going with him..
